Thursday Gang today, all going swimmingly until the tractor driver who was ‘spiking’ the pitch to aid drainage reported that one of the cross bars on the posts had rusted through.
Bit of a “Heath Robinson” repair that should see us through to the end of the season and a visual check of the other three joints show that there is heavy corrosion there as well.
Despite the opinion of a couple of ‘in house’ experts it’s clear that the posts will need to come down for a full survey and repair, probably the ones at Tregenver as well if appearances are anything to go by.

First Thursday of the month is pedicure day as well, thoroughly enjoyed that and judging by the way Paddy licked my legs when I got home he clearly enjoyed the taste of the moisturiser on my legs.
