Daffodils, wallflowers, and tulips
There seems to be a short period at this time of year when the daffodils, wallflowers and tulips in our back garden are all in a good enough state to be photographed together. I took advantage of another beautiful sunny day to capture our back wall in all its glory this morning.
This morning I also caught up on some admin and then went for a short run while Mr hazelh fitted our new bike rack on to the roof of the car. It is possible to carry both our single bikes together - hurrah!
This afternoon we both worked in the garden. Mr hazelh attended to the lawn by removing moss and weeds (including some vestiges of our old wild garlic infestation and baby sycamore trees); I emptied the shed, gave it a good clean, popped everything back in again, and labelled boxes while listening to old episodes of The rest is history.
I cooked a squash, red pepper, and chickpea bake from Moro for supper, substituting butter beans for chickpeas (due to Mr hazelh's allergy). The plan now is to watch a film on Netflix.
Exercise today: 5k run; gardening; walking (12,100 steps including run).
