Wandering indoors

It's been a very busy day.  Friends arrived at 10 a.m., and then met up with our local friends to go for a walk around the park and to the mill, where we all had bacon butties.  Needless to say we haven't needed any lunch.

I have finally managed to book two lots of holiday accommodation in Cornwall, followed by a week in north Devon at the beginning of September.  Normally we'd be walking the coast path with friends, but we've finished that after ten years and so we're on our own this year.

Its been a fabulous day.  JJ has cut the lawn and I've hauled out a tatty looking shrub from the front garden.  More to follow, and then I'll have to think about the replanting.

Caught this bee wandering around in the conservatory and quickly snapped it as it was anxious to be off and not have a big pointy thing staring at it.
