I am lucky enough to live in a fantastic 1822 tenement flat in Edinburgh - which I love - and which has spectacular views over Carlton Hill and the National Momument opposite.

We have uneven floors, draughty windows and doors that don't close. On the plus side we have 16' high ceilings and big rooms in a building with more character than Boris Johnson.
