I had a very Long Good Friday!

Brilliant walk with borrowed doggy Roxy in the morning before going to my mum's to meet niece & nephew for an Easter Egg Hunt.

This also meant a game of football plus hide & seek, which himself managed to excel at again! 

Whilst there, F got a call from his youngest asking if we would come home a bit early to take her roller-skating with her friend as her mum wouldn't. As we'd done our planned activities of course I said that was fine.

However, they couldn't find anywhere local so we ended up driving an hour or so once we were back home but at least the place they'd chosen had a diner so we ate there instead of having to leave them and head off to find somewhere open for a meal. J's friend was lovely and we got a sincere thank you too which isn't always the case with the boy child or even teenagers in general! 

I didn't mind too much having fast cheap food as I was going to let us join the kids for McDonalds anyway as an anti-diabetes treat for F and he did have a diet drink with it! (Didn't want to join me with a peppermint tea funnily enough!) 

The girls roller-discod till 10pm and once both had been taken to their respective homes, it was pretty close to midnight when we got to bed.

A good Good Friday though :)
