Pulling The Shutters Down, Aylesford

For once it was busy at work yesterday with two very late running deadlines which included the phrase "we go live in an hour"! Luckily, the boss was on holiday so we all managed to come together, help each other out and get everything wrapped by the end of play without his interference. It meant on the journey home I could relax and just look forward to pulling the shutters down for four whole days. Bliss.
Woke up this morning and it was beautifully sunny so went for a short run with my brother before breakfast. It was soon time to think about lunch so we decided to go the village pub and we both had the delicious chicken and mushroom pie with seasonal veg and fries. We may also have imbibed some beer to accompany it but, what the heck, it was officially holiday time so we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was then a short walk back home to watch some relaxing telly.
