Fantail...
………………........…or Pīwakawaka (Maori name)
The fantail is one of the most common and widely distributed native birds on the New Zealand mainland.
They are delightful wee birds - extremely agile, inquisitive and never still!
A welcome guest in our garden, but this one was photographed beside a walking track at the Kumeras, near the coast at Motueka.
Thank you so much for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip - one relevant to Good Friday.
