A jackdaw in its nest in the garden

This ash tree has provided homes for a number of birds, and squirrels for many years. The tree is gradually falling down with sections of the trunk bringing down various of its limbs. This nest is in the last part of the trunk.

I've previously shown a green woodpecker poking its head out of this hole a few years ago. This may be the last year for this nest.
