Todays weather was beautiful.
We went swimming this morning with the Friday ladies. It was really quite warm in the sun. Water temp 8C
Cafe after of course but they had been so busy they were out of all their ‘breakfast’ stuff. Thankfully they still had coffee and toast! :)
Signed up for a couple swimming things when I got home then took mom out for a drive to Grassington. We stopped for coffee and cake at The Hedgerow in Threshfield. It was very nice and I picked up a little plant for Jewelz while I was there.
Once back at mom’s, I tidied the garden a bit by just clearing all the dead stuff.
Then I went to ‘visit’ Jewelz. First time I’ve had Scout (or any other dog with me). I was very pleased to see that it looks like the daffodils I planted last year might actually come this year. All the other daffs are out but I’m hoping these ones might just be later in blooming. Perhaps they’ll bloom for her birthday! I hope they do. If so it’ll be the first real success of growing something there.
I went ahead and ‘planted’ the wee plant I picked up today. If it flowers it will have red flowers.

Home. Pizza, carrot sticks n hummus. Mmmm.
Back to mom’s to walk Jodie, eye drops and sat and had a hot chocolate with her. :)

Today mom decided to wear the long sleeve teeshirt she had bought me for my birthday! It was the one that I was going to buy for myself back at Christmas and mom insisted she buy it so I said it could be for my birthday. I’ve been looking forward to having it since then. Today…the day before my birthday she decided she’d have it!!! And…it looks really good in her!!!!! :p
