LONDON TOURIST

#In the drizzle we walked to the station to catch the train to London. We went to the Maundy Thursday service At Southwark Cathedral. It was a lovely service.
#I sneaked out at the end to meet a friend, in the pouring rain. I’d got all my times confused so instead of having more than an hour and half we had 40 mins but boy did we talk…at great speed!!! It was fabulous as we have so often missed each other due to work or travel!!!
##after The Rev had done some impromptu counselling we walked along the south bank in glorious sunshine and over the Thames to St Paul’s cathedral. The Rev had never been inside and I can’t remember going although I’m sure I have!!! The audio guide was very interesting. The Rev went up the 523 steps to the outside balcony.
We left in pouring rain…honestly the weather has been weird!!!
Then we got the train to South Ken to meet O&A for a delicious Vietnamese meal at one of O’s favourite restaurant. This was A’s treat for O.
We got back at 8:30…absolutely exhausted!!!
