Twice as nice

We had such a lovely day today - a spontaneous visit to Brownsea Island in Poole harbour. We did fear it may be really busy being school holidays but it really wasn’t. We walked the length of the island down the central path then came back more beside the coast. We then walked round the Dorset Wildlife section. We were delighted to see a red squirrel and three spoonbills. It really was the nicest of days- just like being on holiday.
