Bluebells, bye-bye....

The bluebells in our wood are at their best and as you can see here, the ferns are starting to make their presence felt.

The wood is coming increasingly noisy - Buzzards, Jays, Chiff-chaff, Great tit, Robin, Wren and Blackbirds all heard but not necessarily seen! No woodpeckers yet - we will encourage them by leaving some standing trunks to rot down...
