Emergency Blip

Today was cloudy and grey and very much NOT a day for sitting out. It rained, then sleeted, and finally started to snow.
What is more, I seemed to be developing a cold, which is more irritating than usual as we are soon to travel off to the UK.
I ventured out to pop the snowshoes under the van, and down to the cellar to do some washing, but otherwise I was indoors all day.
The gold pan is one of Jan's charity shop purchases. It looks wonderful but is so far purely ornamental., but a rather lovely ornament.
