It may be sticky but I never complain

It's nice to have a nibble at it now and again

:-)

Fettled my bike today. Suddenly realised I'd not cleaned it since the muddy York ride back in February! It was filthy but the Kärcher shifted the dry oomska easily. Just need to lube the chain in a bit and it'll be as good as new.

Tried to do some beading (a bead butterfly kit from Hobbycraft) this afternoon (started it last night and ended up ranting and raving like a nutter) but I just found it frustrating and irritating so gave up with it. Maybe it was me, but the instructions didn't make a lot of sense to my brain, one of the pearl beads broke in half (and there weren't any spares) as I was trying to thread 2 strands of wire through it (I don't think that was ever going to happen, the hole wasn't big enough) and the wire kept snapping when I was trying to twist it to secure the wings. I'm sure it was me at fault. Might try again with a kit from somewhere like Etsy because working with sparkly beads does appeal to me.

Looking forward to Gardeners' World (Monty's back tonight!) and then catching up with Beyond Paradise on iPlayer. Speaking of iPlayer, I've been watching The Wrong Mans the last few nights. I'm not sure what I think about it. I find James Corden massively irritating but love Mathew Baynton and it's a clever (if somewhat frustratingly annoying) twisty turny plot. I'd never heard of it until my brother mentioned it, he thought I might like it because of how much I love Ghosts. Got another couple of episodes to watch of the first series so the jury's still out.
