Rain day

Rainy morning in Kyoto, and the train to Kyoto. Beautiful Ekiben bento lunch as we travelled northeast to Kanazawa.

Fairly inactive afternoon— a wet stroll to the 21st century art gallery, then straight to a(nother) beautiful dinner.

First night in a proper Japanese room. Tatami mats and futons, and jammies provided.
