Fred the Groundhog of York University

This is Fred. One of them, anyway. He (I think it's a he) is a bit of a photo hog. He likes to pose for passersby on Campus and there was a crowd around him with cameras and phones in hand. Fred was looking for a treat. He adores muffin chunks, carrots, apples, and french fries. Alas, nobody had anything so he wandered off and started eating some weeds. However, it looks like he had been eating Doritos or Cheezies before this photo.

They are also known as ground squirrels, whistle-pigs, woodchucks, or land beavers. Wiki.
