"Shetland" Filming

A dull, overcast and breezy day.  It's poured down all day too, never eased, same tonight.  Mist and low cloud in places. 

Early shift in the airport again today.  A hectic day of delays, but we got everyone moving.  I was mostly meeting and boarding flights, but also some spells on the check-in desk.  Sammy doesn't want walkies tonight, thankfully, so a lazy night with the telly.  

They finally decided on a new series of "Shetland", and a new female detective to take over Perez.  Filming for series 8 has started, and they've been filming around our village for the past couple of days.  A day up at Berry Farm, and today on Main Street.  Not the best filming weather for most shows, but the dull greys and rain probably helps add darkness to a murder mystery.  My usual route home was interrupted this evening coming home, with the street closed, and I couldn't be bothered to go look at the filming in the rain.  Taken outside the Checkout (where I work part time), Main Street, Scalloway.
