Silky Blue

Our little group of blip linked sewists had an outing today to Beckford Silks where they design and print silk for items sold at establishments across the country.  They also have a very nice small coffee shop and an area explaining the history and process of silk and the design production process.  We each purchased some small items and/or samples to sew.  Of course we had a very chatty time too.

Pity about traffic on the way home.  Part of the M5 was closed so traffic was all on the same roads as us.  Along with hail, heavy rain, thunder, lightning and sunshine.
