Waters Edge

A steady relaxed day today. Julie was feeling under the weather so we didn't do to much. The weather was drier than forecast so we took a drive to the other side of the city and enjoyed a walk around the Millennium lakes. As you can see from this shot the water was a little choppy but a lovely blue sky and the wind leaving it feel a little on the cool side.
A few bits of wildlife around with a couple of odd butterflies and quite a few birds around but not much water birds.
I had to go with this shot looking across the water taken lowdown at the waters edge  showing the lovely sky.
Back home now chilling and getting ready for the Easter feast of Rugby League with all 6 games been shown live on TV starting tonight with Castleford V Wakefield and the good news is Julie can watch it with me as she is not at work tonight .
