I ventured out today as I had to get my car checked. The tyre pressure monitor had erroneously being going off since I had it serviced a couple of weeks ago. They didn't find any obvious fault but did discover a broken spring which may have possibly been the cause. Anyway I needed a replacement which was an unexpected bill and meant I only just got to the RSPB in time and didn't have time for a wander.

As this was my first time out after my cold I didn't expect to manage a full shift but I didn't do too bad and only started to flag around 3:30 when I left early. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to photograph any birds so here is the view from the visitor's centre.
