was still waiting for his mate to return. He is just visible as a white spot right of the nest ,which is right of centre on the island. He waited patiently, looking up from time to time, as did I ! In the end, left him to his sojourn. Meanwhile, Goldeneye, Wigeon, Greylag geese and Mallard all fed in pairs on the loch.
