Lauriston Castle

A bus along to Lauriston Castle grounds. Had a walk round the grounds waiting for MT to arrive. Daffodils are out. A few bluebells under a tree were out. The horse chestnut beginning to leaf up. Lots of birds chirping.

It was busy today with an exercise class, children's art group, local rambling group walking round the grounds & beyond, lots of families too & dog walkers with most dogs on leads.

Mimi's was doing a roaring trade of hot drinks & cake.

We met at the café & had a hot chocolate with cake & chatted in the courtyard away from the wind.

It was nice when the sun was out but the clouds & wind meant it was a bit chilly for sitting too long.

Dropped off home with a huge Easter egg treat.
