Rusty

Once again, we are back at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for a weekend of racing ...

Needless to say, it's not easy to find anything rusty around tweaked and pampered race cars, so I jumped in the (non-race) car, and drove off into the New Hampshire wilds in search of something suitably timeworn and encrusted.

Not far from the track, there's a place called Lane's Antiques/Auto Body/Used Cars. Their sign is actually an old, decrepit car atop a tall pole, which is what caught my eye in the first place.

There were several treasures worthy of photographing at Lane's but I like these two the best. They look like old friends hunkered down in the weeds, who've seen a lot of life passing by on Route 106 over the years.

Rust In Peace!
