Common wasp

I went up to the loft today, and right beside the top of the ladder, I spotted this wasp.  It wasn't moving at all, so I didn't know if it was dead or alive, but I didn't want to take a chance, so fetched a glass and a bit of card.  As soon as I touched it with the card, there was a bit of movement, but it seemed to be pretty sleepy.  After I took it downstairs, it gradually woke up, and started trying to get out of the glass, so I took it outside and set it free.  It didn't go far to start with, so I was able to capture some shots of it on the moss.
