Rob, Anna and the girls are away on holiday this week - in a narrowboat on the Llangollen Canal.

They've sent us a few pictures and it made me think of the time when we went as a family on that very canal, back in 1989.  We went with the Robertson Family. So there were actually eight of us on that narrowboat, including four, very active boys, between the ages of six and nine!  They were all absolutely brilliant though and we had a great time.

We've just been looking at the slides that Will took during that holiday which includes the one above.  Roma was reading a story to the boys, sitting on a rug on the towpath.  And, as you can see, whatever it was she was reading, she had their full attention.
