Man versus Nature

……………………………..and nature appears to be winning! 

A day with the wee one, just waiting for him to drop off to sleep as he’s gone none stop all day. We popped up to see my Mum for an hour this morning, he kept the residents amused for the duration. Home via the post office so now I’ve only one parcel to sort out returning. A visitor for a little while this afternoon after which we went for a walk since it was dry…and I hadn’t got a blip! 

A short walk along the prom to the play park for a while then as we were returning we got to watch the MV Leiria leaving (extra including the pilot boat and life boat). She finally docked at high tide yesterday afternoon and obviously unloaded her cargo of barley very quickly to catch the high tide this afternoon. I think she may be sitting offshore just down the coast awaiting her next instruction…I do hope the crew have enjoyed their time oop north!
