A blue day - Town Hall & College, yesterday

Today it's rained and been absolutely miserable, so I saved these images to cheer me up.

I have been into Barnsley this afternoon but not the town centre - my hair needed a catchup with Kat - I missed last weeks booking because I had covid.  Despite it being school holidays the traffic was crawling along through the town, so it was good that I'd set off early.  I chose to come home via Mapplewell - further but far less traffic.

p.s. The sixth form college now occupies the site where the library previously stood and the library is now in the new shopping centre.  I wonder if the staff have noticed a difference in their customers.
