Mallard

This wee duck was hammering across the water, it's wee legs going like pistons.

A dry morning, with a bit of sunshine, but it turned wet in the afternoon, just as I left to go to the Ladies Group afternoon tea.  We had a good afternoon tea and gossip, and then it rained on the way home also, so we got wet!

Was thrilled this morning to see the Great Tits showing interest in our bird box.  They occupied it last year and raised three chicks, and we are hoping it happens this year also.  The signs look good.

Heard today that Croftcrafts is successfully through her Cataract procedure, which is good to know.
