Little Shelduck....

We spent sometime doing gardening jobs this morning. And that's another patio area cleaned.

Then a late afternoon walk around Trentham,  after most of the visitors had gone. It was lovely and quiet and peaceful.

We thought this little female shelduck had disappeared as we hadn't seen her on the lake for a few weeks. It was lovely to see her and there was a male shelduck around too. may be she'd gone off to look for a a mate and brought him back to her favourite spot?

It was even warm enough for ice cream!
