Gorse on Heath

Not quite as nice a day today, but still lots of sunshine around. H and I went for a walk on Kelling Heath, popping to the holiday village to have a cuppa. We had a look at the pond there, but no sign of frogs - everything is much later this year. The gorse is looking lovely although it has no aroma as yet. We did the walk in the reverse direction for a change, strange how this makes it look quite different! This afternoon I did some gardening. I had to cut one group of osteospermum right back as it was very badly damaged by frost, but there were signs of life lower down - that filled up a lot of my wheelie bin! It will be interesting to see what's been going on at the SNP - shocking to see the police tent up outside the house of, what were until very recently, the Chief Exec and  Leader / First Minister.
