Grey & Cold...

It's been a cold, grey & rainy day today & so I've done house stuff, work stuff & a bit of a drive. I sat by the tree stump, put food out & then listened to some very vocal brambling at the res. I took a video of trees & their sound - here. It's not the most melodic of calls to say the least, but I really like it! My blip is of a male brambling that came close to the tree stump. The other bramblings were high up in the trees - just wondering if they change their diet to insects before they head home to Scandinavia.
