Tooting Common

At last - a couple of sunny days!

No.1 had stayed overnight and after breakfast we drove back to Tooting.  The roads were busy (traffic lights and road works but nobody actually working?!) but we arrived ahead of L&K and pushed the hoover round and put a few things away.  Lovely to see them both and we chatted and enjoyed lunch.  K had bought her kit and did No,1’s nails a lovely shade of pink.

We did Budha bowls for lunch and they were well received.  L likes to get away early so they left around 3.30 but it was such a lovely day so No,1 and I drove to the common for a lovely long walk (furthest she has walked for ages). The sun was shining and it was bliss although a tad muddy.

Home to prep dinner - marinaded ribs which although the recipe said three hours didn’t take that long and she said they were remarkably tasty?  I drove home (more roadworks) and had cheese and biscuits and a glass of wine.
