Hot water

Spent another interesting morning in the nursery. The stories of other migrants and the struggles they face are so very humbling. I can't imagine not being able to travel for three years. 

The limitations placed on the children in the nursery really surprised me. Mess, mud and stained clothing are part of the experience but perhaps less so in Germany. I suspect it varies from nursery to nursery. 

In other news there is no hot water in our building. We can have warm showers in our friends place for now but will need another solution for next week.  So easy to take for granted until it doesn't work. I'm not really a fan of swimming pools but will need to investigate options. Having lived without a washing machine this is just another one of those things to get used to.
