Shadows on the grass

I love the branch shapes on the newly cut grass.

What a busy day! First out to lunch near Letchworth with an important work colleague who advised and supported me through several sticky times in the 2000s. His wife was with him and so was the widow of another colleague who also helped to make my life easier! We last met 6 years ago on Tues 4 April and without realising this here we are meeting again!

Then this evening it was book club which I have missed for a couple of months. Lovely friends and fun discussions. Great to be back!
