Happy birthday Rosemary!
Rosemary’s daughters gave her a wonderful birthday today! It was a big one and although Rosemary knew a few friends were popping round, the 45 of us there was a big surprise. She and the girls arrived home only yesterday from a glamping weekend. Wonderful daughters!
We’ve known the family for many years, our children spending their early school years together. Rosemary’s husband Philip died thirty years ago now. He’d have loved to see “his girls” today! He and Rosemary worked for Operation Mobilisation, a missionary organisation for many years, mainly in India but also in the UK.
Our journey was virtually traffic free, Sati, as we call her, taking us through the Dartford Tunnel and on to Bury St Edmunds in glorious sunshine.
This evening D went to his History meeting and I made some final preparation for tomorrow. My extra, my shoes!
