Temperate Rainforest

The woods on the Isle of Ulva are lush. In the extra a collage of some of the plant life I saw on our walk. 

The day started at Loch Ba and we intended to walk there. However there was a crowd of cattle and some very young calves. Rather than interfere with them we turned back but not before we saw an eagle soaring high above us. 

This is my fourth visit to Ulva. What a lovely island it is and great to see it developing so successfully. 

Coffee then lunch in the boathouse before we get the ferry back to Mull. Going to the Mull Theatre tonight and the muddy clothes we're currently sporting won't do at all.
