Arrival of autumn....

.....lovely golds mingling with a blue sky and greens round the pond creating a beautiful tranquil setting, good friend and blipper JMK was enjoying the view, at Christchurch Botanic Gardens.

Enjoyed a city day with J today, the first half was raining so we explored the 5 floors of Christchurch Library in the CBD, great modern architecture with a great view overlooking Cathedral Square. The second half of the day was warm with sun beaming down. We wandered through the gardens, enjoying the begonias before taking the track passing the ponds then through into NZ native trees coming out at the rose gardens and dahlia displays. Quite a few people out and about especially round the roses and dahlias, all admiring the beautiful blooms and colours.
