Life Line

(Or palm/leaf).

Was quite lucky with this. There are times when everyone needs to do practical stuff to keep on track, be it MOTs, posting letters or buying new things. Have been doing a lot of those things this week so those 5minutes of spare blip-time were (temporarily) been reduced to literally 20seconds of Macro-lens fun photographing leaf close-ups on the bush next to where I was parked up. Suddenly it struck me how close the leaf veins were to our own palm prints. One snap and blend later (amazingly the two matched perfectly first time - spooky) here we have a palm/leaf blend.

The only debate is about colour/black and white.

BW is truly great but a little too close to see the destinction between palm and leaf. Also part of the fun is the green of the leaf - so I went for to coloursplash to blend out some colour on the palm a little but leave leaf in tact.
