Dramatic Light

One of the wonderful things about staying near the sea is the wonderful drama of the changing light. Last night was particularly dramatic and this morning the drama continues - though in a much more subtle way.

Anwick was our main destination yesterday and being creatures of habit we lunched at Grannies, which is a rather good deli as well as a small cafe. Of course we spent money in the Outdoor shop before leaving. (Though my socks will need to go back as unfortunately super-sized socks have been put back into the wrong packet and I only have small feet.)

A late afternoon walk down to the hides followed - though there wasn't quite so much happening and the day was definitely cooler. The geese were hiding just in front of the hides as the swan was still patrolling the far side of the pond, but the goslings were well hidden. I only managed a couple of shots of `dad' who put his head up long enough to show he'd seen us too.

(I've been finding that my mobile connection is much more reliable in a morning - hence the backblips.)
