Fine Weather For Ducks

Rain. I thought I wasn't going to see any wildlife and if I did, shutter speeds would be too slow in the available light.

After waiting a while, a group of ducks landed on the water, they settled, preened, flapped their wings and began to feed. I actually counted three males, but I'm not sure whether these two are non-breeding.

I did see one with blue shoulder patches, so maybe that's the mate. Otherwise, might be a bit of competition going on.
