Canal Paddling

Cycling past the Spaarne river I encountered this group of people on surfboards coming my way.

I realized that they would have to pass the picturesque drawbridge I had just passed, so I turned back and waited for them at the picture perfect spot.

But irony struck...

Just before they would pass the bridge, they made a corner turn into another canal :-((

I quickly ran to that canal and told them of my plan and made the deal that if they would make a small detour, I would publish the photo today.

They kept their part of the deal, as do I :-))
