It’s a mystery

I saw this at the Botanic Gardens hothouse in Cambridge yesterday and forgot to get the name. I’m meeting a friend there tomorrow so I’ll find it then. The green tracery on the white bracts is so delicate and elegant, I was entranced.

The extra is a strange beast called a jade vine, also in the hothouse. I don’t love it but the colour and shapes are otherworldly, they’d fit into a sci-fi movie.
