Chess on the 16th St Mall

Down on the walking mall, there are a number of chess boards permanently set up, and they are pretty much in constant use. The chap who comes in his motorized wheelchair is a regular - I have no idea if he regularly wins or regularly loses, but he does keeping coming back. He seems to have some preference for shades of green, and he seems to fit in well with the ceramic spectator.
