Blossom

A beautiful day. We are doing lots of repair work at the allotment, replacing beds, painting new wood, clearing rubbish. All this means that we don't often stand up straight and look around.

Today as I painted wood in the sunshine I was lucky enough to receive a video call introducing me to my great nephew, born on Saturday. So precious and tiny. All doing well, except for Granny who is a blubbering wreck still.

I worked hard enjoying the heat on my back and when I finished I stopped and looked around. The plum tree has an incredible amount of blossom and the bees were loving it. Let's hope that means a bumper crop.
