Repainting the porch

What a long day.

Got Mutt (the Chevy) registered today which of course took 2 trips to the DMV, so now it has plates on it. Which is nice. Was kinda getting a little techy about driving around with no number plate - not that it's illegal on a newly bought vehicle - which I just find odd.

And get this - you don't need a full insurance policy in the first 30 days either! Driving other cars extension has you covered.

Anyway, once that was all done it was time for some work. My wife started on the grouting at Manchester and got the bathroom done - WOW - just WOW. Best darn bathroom in a rental ever. She'll do kitchen backsplash tomorrow.

Whilst I got on with the final painting at Border.

This is the front porch being returned to white. One of those jobs other people have offered to do, but no, this one is instant gratification and is all mine. I get too many crappy horrible jobs for people to suddenly take the one really fun job away from me.
