3018. Flowers in the Church garden
We’ve had a very productive day today…housework first, then lunch, then out for a walk into town. Hubby was waiting on a delivery so wasn’t going to come with me but his parcel arrived just as I was leaving so we headed into town together.
I was hoping to find some fabric to make a cover for my electric pressure cooker as it sits on my worktop but does get a bit dusty in between uses. No fabric seemed to be around so I thought I’d try some quilted pillow cases from Primark, which could be sewn into the right shape, but as we were queuing to pay for them I spotted a rather nice tote bag which looked exactly the right dimensions so I bought that instead! So back home and the handles have been removed from the tote bag and the cover is now installed and thanks to the rather funky pattern on it, it looks great! Second sewing job was turning up the sleeves on a new tunic dress and had to guess the length as I couldn’t be bothered to measure it…hopefully it will be fine!
On my way home I just missed the bus so had a bit of time to kill before the next one, so took a wander through the Church garden at the bus stop and snapped this little tub.
