Beacon on Bay

This replica lighthouse at the corner of Bay and Wellington is the latest grandiose promotional display to take temporary residence in the financial district. It is promoting Nova Scotia tourism. Most of the time I've walked by (I think it's been up a week or so) there has been a person or two taking a rest in the Muskoka chairs, but I wonder how many trips have been booked as a result?

Head still vexing me. Semi-functional but weary. Glad to have (just barely, by the skin of my teeth) made it to the pharmacy to renew my Zomig prescription before closing, no thanks to the person who pressed the alarm strip and delayed my home-bound train. Whine, whine, whine...
