Peak

This morning did not start out very much like spring, as I took to the bike to do the last training support crew for the marathon runs. I didn’t wrap up warm enough and got myself very cold. Town was also eerily quiet. It felt like a lockdown day.

Thankfully, it warmed up this afternoon and the Quarry was peak Shrewsbury in spring, with the daffs out and Sabrina Boat doing her thing. Managed a pint in the sunshine without freezing to death.

I think the only real after effect from yesterday is that I can’t stop eating.
