Wood Anemone

We spent the morning with our daughter, husband and the grandchildren at a Lego show “Brickfest” at Doncaster Dome. There were lots of fabulous models and lots of stuff for sale. It was also very crowded - so it was difficult to get to see a lot of the models close up. Good fun though :-)

Afterwards we all went for lunch at Frankie & Benny’s across the road.

I did manage to get out for a walk later this afternoon - to work off at least some of the lunch.

It has been a while since I went into the woods - it can get very muddy and slippy when wet, but today it was ok! There are hundreds of beautiful wood anemones flowering at the moment - this one has a bonus bug. The wild garlic is showing so they will be out soon.
