Red Grouse

This is the male Red Grouse telling me to Geback Geback Geback.

90 minutes wander on a very quiet moorland though I did see Raven, Meadow Pipits and a Wheatear.

It looked and felt like Winter.

This is a Grouse moor so it’s all for their benefit until shot!
I met a friend another birder just back from a holiday in North Norfolk returning to his home patch which he described as like a desert in comparison to all he had seen on the East Anglian coast
